Can you explain how Jane is fine with using the magic of Mjolnir to be Thor, yet still refuses magic for healing her cancer? Seems a little inconsistent.

Not at all–in fact, becoming Thor is preventing her cancer treatment from working properly, so in taking on the responsibility of becoming Thor, she’s actually endangering her chances of recovery.
Jane Foster is so inspirational to me. I love her for this.
